Ham Radio is a way of life. This site is to propagate and educate the Amateur Radio hobby for all aspects it covers for all who want to be involved at any level. I am Fred McGuire. - KD5FMU and I have been a Ham since 1998. I was already in Law Enforcement and found Amateur Radio fascinating, but I also discovered that the hobby can be very expensive very quickly. So my career advanced but my Ham Radio education stumbled and stalled. As the years went by I was in and out of Amateur Radio and could only grow in the hobby a little at a time. But now I am retiring soon and I am on a crusade to get to know the Ham Radio world again and on an ever higher level as my journey continues.
